The whataboutism of putting the migrant issue before the budget, again. At least there actually are a lot of migrants and it can be considered a crisis, the first time they've said this and its true. They've used this excuse like a dozen or more times.
This should be such an easy win for Republicans, this is immediate funding and tax revenue and jobs in their states. Its the military industrial complex at work. But they're so greedy for power they are letting Russia gain influence in our politics. After all of the anticommunism I had to learn in school, Russian influence in the US is the deepest shame I've seen in politics in my lifetime.
What I don't understand is how it has been so normalized. I've called people out on their acceptance of Russian interference, and they just defend it like it's totally acceptable.
It blows my mind that the Right sees their politicians going over to Russia, working with Russians, and enabling policies that benefit Russia....and they have no red flashing lights and sirens going off.
Id say "Kremlin" instead of "Russian", but yeah, same. I've lost so much respect for the average person because of how unaware they are of this sociopolitical dynamic.
