What light novel(s) have you read this week, and what do you think about it? [November 20. - November 26.]

A Misanthrope Teaches a Class for Demi-Humans, Vol. 1 - Sigh... A 29-year-old virgin with the defeatist mindset dialed up to elven, who gets flustered the second a girl talks or even looks to him becomes the homeroom teacher of a classroom of animal girls. Hijinx ensues while he is totally not lusting after his students. Each chapter features a different girl and the specific problem she has to solve. There is nothing that feels like it would connect the chapters to each other. No update on how Girl A is doing in a chapter of Girl B. - 4/10

To Another World... with Land Mines! Volume 8 - Not much to say about this one. This volume was a drawn out dungeon crawl but the addition of the two new party members made it actually quite entertaining to read. It wouldn’t hurt for the next volumes to give them a bit more personality since they felt somewhat one dimensional towards the end. Still one of the worst named series though. It’s like going to Burger King and finding out that they don’t have any burgers. - 7/10
