I mean... It’s technically true, but unfair. Back then you could add anyone to moderate your subreddit and they didn’t need to accept, they were just made a moderator. He, and every other high profile person on Reddit, were probably listed as a moderator in thousands of subreddits back then.
There’s plenty to hate Spez for (like allowing the subreddit to exist in the first place).
I feel like Spez vs. Elon would make more sense given the hits to both their platforms on the same day. Mark is sitting back doing nothing, secure in the fact he's still got most of the Boomers/Gen Xs in his grasp until they finally die out.
He's a got a new plan now, the fediverse. Don't worry people like him never leave things to die out, Meta will have new things to keep new generations glued to his platforms.
