We're just about two weeks away from the first deliveries of Tesla's Cybertruck, but we've also started to see an increase in speculation about the truck and its impact on the market.

Earlier this week, Tesla's online sales contract seemed to suggest it would ask Cybertruck customers to not sell their vehicles on for at least a year - or face upwards of $50,000 in legal fees. A few days later, the clause seemed to vanish -- and Tesla has, to date, remained quiet on the matter.

So is it happening? Is it legal? And why might a company like Tesla want to implement this kind of policy? It's certainly not the first to do so...
