Dead link for me. But that's kind of why massive instances are a bad idea. Much better to use small or medium sized instances. I self host mine, so when it's down I've got no one to blame but myself.
- I don't know dude. Like I love the idea of decentralization but the reality is that the mainstream people are more likely to move on mass. Idk how to set a Lemmy instance,and most people won't
  
  True, I'm not expecting everyone to selfhost, but there's plenty of smaller instances people can join.
