What are you playing this week? Thanksgiving Edition (2023.11.23)
Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate! I figured I would start the thread early this week since many of us are taking time off.
Hopefully you are too busy with family, friends, and traditions, but in case you aren't, or you just need a respite before diving back into turkey and stuffing, I wanted to make sure we had a space for you to pop in and hang out.
On the gaming front, this last week I beat Ragnarok but after a suggestion from a community member here to at least play the Crater side quest, I have to say I'm still playing Ragnarok. The side content is super high quality and the discussions with your companions continue to expand the world and story in an interesting and novel way. Rather than moving on to Spider-Man 2, I'm probably gonna wrap up all the side quests to discover more of what there is to offer.
Shout out to @SupDude@lemm.ee for the suggestion to play the Crater. This side quest alone feels like a DLC as it opens up such a large area with multiple quests and a really interesting twist to Kratos' backstory. I haven't finished it yet, but it is awesome!
What are you all playing this week? Let us know š
Mario RPG is great! Loved the original and this is a really faithful remake with a great graphics update and a few quality of life changes.
Wonder was also fantastic! I got that launch day and nearly 100% by the end of the weekend! I couldnāt put it down. Still have a handful of flower coins left that I need to go back for.
If you haven't started yet, I vote for Spider-man MM, only because that's the only game in your list that has a sequel, so playing it first will allow you to get some distance between this and the sequel.
Still playing Nioh. Starting to feel a bit repetitive, so started a few games to keep it going.
Started unpacking, very zen-like game.
Started Two Point Hospital. Have been looking for a good tycoon game for a long time, having a blast playing it.
Started Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1. Have been itching to start an RPG on handheld for a while. Was planning to start Super Mario RPG, but had to delay buying any new game, so went looking into my backlog, and noticed I have Hyperdimension Neptunia on Vita, so that's what I am playing.
Yay sales! I got dead space and FF16! Dead space has blown me away, Iāve never played the original but Iām in love! I can feel a late night tonight š played the intro to FF16, it was jaw dropping Iām excited to play it when Iām done with dead space!
