Michael Garcia was hit by a #3strikes law. His third offense was stealing meat.
Some #vegans would likely argue that stealing meat is actually an ethical act since the meat industry is harming both animals and the planet.
skill issue
The guy simply instantly confessed whenever questioned. I wouldn’t say skills are the core of his problem. It’s an overall lack of self defense. He made no effort to even try to defend himself. He was self deprecating.

fair enough; glad I mentioned it. But out of curiosity, is it that you don’t trust cjcj.org? Or the filesize?
I can see why someone would distrust PDFs out in the wild in general (as PDFs are a large attack surface), but at the same time I would not expect someone that diligent about security to be on lemm.ee, which is a Cloudflare site, whereby Cloudflare can see everything you do while blocking you from using privacy-respecting tools. Hence my curiosity.
For sure I don't download PDFs willy-nilly, but also they're really inconvenient. Another thing to scan, open in a separate program. Pass.
As for lemm.ee, I like it because they're generally federated, as far as I can tell and I'm always behind a VPN so I'm not too upset if cloudflare are watching me post. I treat these accounts as disposable, and will create another one in a few months.
Having opened it, I can confirm it's a scanned magazine and contains no active content.
