JLPT July 2023 - Megathread

Alright everyone! JLPT is tomorrow. Discuss anything related to the test, success or failure stories, fun anecdotes and everything in-between in this thread!

  • Took the N2. Considering they increased the price of the test, I was expecting a better experience, but it was still pretty chaotic and it seemed to be the proctors first time.

    As for the test content, I thought the vocab and grammar was fair, but the listening was more difficult than I anticipated.

    I probably failed though simply because I don't read enough in Japanese, and had to rush through that section. Hoping to change that though.

    That being said, I'm not sure if I'll ever bother with the test again.

    • I get you, yeah. Fortunately JLPT is so uncommon where I’m from, most of the time it’s 100 people at most, 70%+ are N5-N3
