Calling volunteers for mods!
Hey all, welcome to the league community on lemmy! Hopefully this place can grow and become way better than reddit with some thriving discussions :)
I created this community just cause I wanted to kick start one as I didn't see one exist anywhere, but realized I don't really have bandwidth to maintain this lol. So: I am calling any volunteers who would also like to be a mod here!

I'll do it. Would be nice to get a small community going here. I get the sense a lot of users on Lemmy are well into their 30s, so maybe a bit older than the LoL demographic. It'll come with time though, I've already been here a month and I'm just now getting around to joining up here. A lot of other niches took priority; I only play Wild Rift now and rarely.
But I did spend a lot of time on League from season 3 to season 8. My main remaining interest in League is for the esports, so I'll plug the Lol Esports community. We don't have nearly enough users to fill that one up yet, but I'm hoping someday we will.
