Bird of the Century delayed by "hundreds of thousands" of votes

Well, I love John Oliver, so....

I voted for a combination of my favourites and birds I think need more attention.

I can't remember who I voted for 😄. I know Fairy Tern and South Island Kōkako were in the mix, as some of my favourites.

Wait, why is this news? Oh, New Zealand. Ok ok. Np

I voted Huia, I just have a soft spot for them

I voted for Fairy Tern because it is NZ's rarest bird.

I also voted for dottys and kiwi and riroriro and the endangered native gulls. It took me way too long to choose. All our birds are so lovely and feel like friends.
