"Second half of 2023 will be great for games." Thoughts?
I think the second half of 2023 (well more like Q4/september) is gonna be amazing for game releases. Games like Payday 3, Cities Skylines 2, Starfield. Any other I missed that you're excited for?
I'm scared but eager for PL. Played the main story last summer after all the bug fixes, but I don't want to wait another 2 years for the game to be in a playable state, also CDPR's comments lately got me a bit worried
Super Mario RPG is the thing that may make me dust off the switch this year after TOTK but I dunno. I wanted it for all these years and now I can"t escape the thought that it's still kinda creatively bankrupt
Sadly many games that will not reach PC or at least for a few years. I would love a world where games are released to all current platform on the same day for everyone. More people having access to games is better for customers, devs/studios ... but some high ranked apparently thinks blocking access to games if you don’t own their specific plaform is something good and even required to face the concurrence and i think it’s bullshit but it’s just my gamer’s opinion.
I feel like 2023 needs to be written off for games. Yeah we're getting Starfield but that's about all the "AAA" games I feel.
I think this is a lagged effect due to COVID. I think it won't be until second half of 2024 or 2025 till we start seeing regular AAA game releases again.
