Built in 2007 and running on its original tires, we told you about some of the things we were going to do to get it in a more ridable state, including replacing the old NiMH battery pack with a more modern alternative to get increased range and better performance.

This week, we're bringing you an update. New tires, a better way to fill and drain the gearbox, and a very poor judgement call on Nikki's part that nearly broke this aged EV before she'd had a chance to ride it in earnest.
