Dave Finseth talks about what we learned from the Historic No Banned List event, and why we're "basically" improving the next iteration of the event by removing just three overly powerful cards.
Channel, Demonic Tutor and Tibalt's Trickery are the only cards banned in the upcoming Historic All-Access event
No complaints here. Channel and Trickery were easily the worst offenders in the last event. I try not to be judgemental about what people play, but I really don't get the appeal of digging for a single card that is the only wincon. Seems boring to play with and is certainly boring to play against.
I only wonder that if you start banning cards how long until it just becomes historic? Maybe restricting them could be interesting. Either way, I had an absolute blast with the event last time playing a UR Tempo deck so I’m happy to play again.
