  • Again here's what sticks out to me:

    • For the first time this season we have no newcomers to the poll, which conversely means that we didn't have anyone drop out
    • Yet again our biggest winners and losers mirror each other, it's like poetry, they rhyme
    • USC and Tennessee entered the 2005 season ranked #1 and #2 depending on your preseason magazine of choice, and they both took very different roads to end up just barely hanging on in the week 9 c/cfb poll
    • So far as a community we seem to have a pretty good eye for the undersung heros, keep up our reputation Duke, JMU, Air Force and Liberty!
    • Thank you for keeping Tennessee in your ballots friends. Now, in your darkest moment of need, you will be visited by an orange and white checkered mouse. Which won't do much to help, I mean it's just a mouse, but it'll be nice not to die alone
    • For the first time this season, Georgia topped no one's ballot
    • Missouri jumped 8 spots by beating an unranked USCjr that was 2-4 going into the day
  • I don’t know what to do with ranking Michigan anymore. I honestly think they are number 1 in the country, but that may not be due to talent, it could be due to unfair competitive advantage.

The next couple of weeks will prove if they’re for real or not.

  • Very close to the AP Top 25 (+/- a couple) until you get down to #20. We rank Iowa and Liberty instead of AP ranking UCLA and Tulane. We also have the cajones to rank JMU up at 20.
