Life After “Calvin and Hobbes”
I pre-ordered "The Mysteries" and it was ... something. I guess. It's like a kids books for adults, with a nihilistic, cold message that left me uninspired. Strange to think that a cartoon tiger could observe the world in a more profound way than this book.
I just bought it.. wondering if I should have got it from the library instead. Ah well.
Yeah... I don't really wish to keep it around. It's disappointing
I'm sorry you felt empty at the end of the book. I liked the message at the end and took it as a reminder that life's mysteries are what make life exciting.
The ending was basically that nothing you do matters. Pretty depressing
