Alpine have secured a €200m cash injection from a group of investors, including Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds, to support the French operation’s sporting ambitions in Formula 1.

Interesting. Not sure what any implications are with the cost cap as to how much it benefits them there but certainly from a commercial point of view would be super useful.

So you’re telling me there’s hope for an It’s Always Sunny and F1 crossover episode?
Reynolds and McElhenney slowly working on their Sports Empire.

I mean... it's entertaining, but I don't really understand the why, except if they really just enjoy it, and have enough money to burn it on Football and F1.

Or are they Advertising themselves? Have Actors become reliant on advertising like corporations?
- Maybe they just legitimately think it's a good investment? I probably wouldn't, but neither am I rich 😂
