Last year, when Nikki and her partner decided to replace one of their two Chevrolet Bolt EVs with a Ford F150 Lightning Lariat, they - and we here at the channel - came under a lot of criticism for buying a massive, inefficient electric vehicle - in fact one of the largest and most inefficient vehicles on sale at the time. Whenever possible, Nikki takes her partner's Bolt EV to run errands around town, saving the F150 Lightning (known as Adira Tal) for the things they actually purchased the truck for: hauling camera gear and crew for this channel; traveling long distance with the same; hauling trailers; and carrying wood, feed, and garden supplies for their smallholding in the foothills of the coast range. But while Adira Tal is very good at those things, Nikki wanted something more efficient to carry out the odd job in and around her local area. And so, she went shopping.
