I would say most of the damage is due to the weight being on an SUV style car (aka a battering ram). There totally can be reasonable safe for all EVs.
Yeah seems like it’s primarily a weight issue.
I'm pretty sure the 12t+ double-decker bus I ride is heavier :)
The same bus as an EV could weigh 16t 🙃
