I like how the player wasn't named in the article. But what an achievement!
This is wonderful, although I feel a wee bit sorry for the player who helped it over. I've seen attempted charge downs push a ball that was going low up over the posts. I've also seen an attempted drop goal which was partially charged down - thus putting the kickers team inside - then picked up near the line for an easy score.
This is my favourite, though, because he does it in celebration of winning the game!
The boys went out with some of the Gala players afterwards and they dressed our player up in a Gala kit.
