For historic purpouses, this is what I would refer to when I say "there's a few gems in pop music" or things of that ilk.

If you're new to City Pop, there's a great podcast called Primer that did a short series walking through the genre and the artists. Apparently they tended to be jazz musicians making more commercial music.
sad that she was so regretful about her work in the end.
It's a tragedy she never got to see the impact her work had on so many lives so many years later.
