Which includes a full GUI toolchain as integral part for basic accessibility.\nTo expect everyone to *become* essentially a sysadmin when running Linux is the most common kind of harmful ignorance in the Linux community, and it's good this notion is slowly changing. If you like it or not, **understanding** abstract CLI commands that often work with OS design concepts (especially in emergency situations like yours) are junior sysadmin level stuff and hardly accessible to a majority of people outside if this bubble we're currently talking in. And people get immediately scolded for entering commands they don't understand, so any common user is effectively being left alone in your scenario.
