Also the day that the world found out that Hitler had a micropenis.

I'm old enough to remember the United States as a country that won two World Wars, won a Cold War, went to the moon, and had a reputation - deserved or not - as a shining beacon of freedom and democracy. Respected or feared by the entire world.
Now it's a country run by a paedophile fascist with dementia, elected twice by an equally mentally feeble populace - causing consternation and concern around the world.
Americans should be ashamed of themselves. But of course they aren't because they're not actually capable of feeling shame.
I mean, I'm American. I had nothing at all to do with the state of America now. I have been doing what I can (protesting, good trouble, etc.) to oppose this shit before, during and after the election. I can't really have shame for something that I had absolutely no part in and actively fought against for the past decade. I mean, I feel ashamed for my country and my loved ones, but I feel no personal shame because there are many of us who have actively been trying to undo this shit, no matter how impossible and foolish of a task that sounds like.
Took credit for winning world wars*
Decided it won the cold war*
It always has been run by fascist slave owners. Welcome to the real world, where america is and always has been shit stain on the history of the world.
I don't necessarily disagree - hence my adding "deserved or not", if you re-read what I wrote.
But regardless of what you think, it had that reputation.
And it doesn't no more.
One could make a case for Putin winning the cold war by installing a puppet dictator in the USA. I mean he said he would, and he did. It's pretty impressive, really. Not the stratagem in itself, it's dumb as fuck, but he knew the Americans would be even dumber.
At least they tried to hide it, now they don't.
As for the cold war, if you consider the conflict USA-USSR they clearly won: Russia was, at least at some point, equally powerful to the USA technologically and militarly, what one did first, the other caught up pretty quickly, then the Soviet Government collapsed for various reasons, and they couldn't catch up, now the USA is arguably the most technologically advanced country in the world, in many aspects.
China is catching up, but they are in no way equally capable.

C'mon man, give the US some credit. They helped my home country, China, a lot during the defence against Japanese Imperialism, forced the impeialists to surrender.

Some of us very much are.
I'm also ashamed of the window lickers that let us get to this point too. We knew what this would bring, and here we are, laughing about the fascist pedophile finding out he took a shot to the mouth while him and his kiddie diddling friends destroy the country.
I hate my fellow Americans.
the United States as a country that won two World Wars
Contributed to winning two world wars.
The U.S. didn't carry the allies. Soviet and Chinese casualties far outstripped any American ones, and the amount of Indians thrown into the meat grinder on behalf of England during both of the World Wars is barely even mentioned. Then there's civilian casualties. Was the wartime rationing bad? Sure, but it's a piss take compared to Churchill's Famine.
The Soviets won WW2, and nobody won the Cold War.
Should we keep going? How about the Vietnam war? Wonder why you skipped over that one... Korea? How did that one turn out again?
Nice try Vladimir.
Soviets didn't do much to help China fight off the imperialists from Japan. The US did.
Then Soviets try to coerce China to join the USSR as essentially a puppet state, used nuclear weapons as a threat to extort resources as "repayment" for the "help" they gave in WW2. Good thing China got the nuke, otherwise Soviets would've invaded.
Remember, the exceptionalism turned into the fragile ego that contains the shame.
Username checks out. Most Americans aren't on board with this shit and that's pretty clear looking at any polls, we just have enough morons that think voting doesn't matter or who listen to stupid ass propaganda from people pretending the parties are the same.
Most Americans aren’t on board with this shit
They're obviously onboard with different shit, else Trump wouldn't be president. Twice.
As shit goes, I preferred the old-timey one. At least it was dignified.
Were you born in 1910? /s
That's a gross over generalization. I'm plenty ashamed of myself!
“Respected or feared by the entire world”
Keep telling yourselves that.
Great, now "Hitler micropenis" is in my search history.
