ARK: Survival Ascended gets bumped up to Steam Deck Verified

How does Ascended compare to Evolved? I know most of the community is sticking to the pre-Aquatica branch of the latter due to the surprise Aquatica update breaking everything (including mod compatibility, years after most modders left the game). Is there any reason to play the newer one besides shinier graphics?
