Meta, Facebook's parent company, is looking to launch their own fediverse platform. Some people are already advocating to block it en masse.
I say tell Meta to pound sand

It seems meta wants "off the record" meetings with instance admins, such as Fosstodon https://fosstodon.org/@kev/110592625692688836
The last thing I want is for Meta to get their slimy tendrils anywhere near this site.
I agree with the pound sand approach
Zuck should go bask under the heat lamp in his enclosure and leave the rest of us alone
Nothing Meta does can be expected to be in good faith. They betray privacy and security all the time, so who cares what they have to offer.
