Would you rather be 8 feet tall or 3 feet tall?

3 feet tall. Cheaper clothes, tiny home would be way more livable, and I might be able to get a saddle for a large dog to work 😀
3ft tall and I could live in a two story van.
I could probably get away with crimes easier by disguisingysrlf as a child.
Lucrative midget porn side gig.
The possibilities are endless
I like the way you think 🚐
I'm 6'6" (198cm) tall. I have various muscle issues on account of my height, reaching or even seeing lower shelves can be difficult, I bang my head on everything, and I barely fit in my own car.
I still would have to choose the 8' (243cm) option, because I have no idea how to be short. While I know there will be problems being short, I can conceptualize and understand what those problems will be. I have absolutely no idea what they would be if I suddenly lost over half my height.
8ft tall and try to get an NBA contract. At 8ft tall you could basically reach over the rim just flat feet on the ground.
🦶
I prefer 1,80m
I couldnt imagine having more than 2 feet 🥵
Realistically, 8 feet tall is probably going to die pretty young. Andre the Giant had medical problems all his life. iirc the tallest man ever died in his 40s.
But if it wasn't for that, I'd choose to be the giant.
I could make a pretty good living as an actor/spokesman. Probably get hired by an NBA/WNBA team as a mascot.

Verne Troyer (2 ft 8) made it to 49, Andre made it to 46. Both had their fair share of problems. The list ain't too super great on either end with regard to longevity, though you are correct that it's worse on the taller side. The biggest flame burns quickest or something like that.

I was thinking that if I was an 8 footer I could carry a folding wheel chair to bring my height down to handle hallways etc where I'd have to stoop. A smaller person can't carry a ladder everywhere.
But overall, the taller one is going to have more opportunities than the smaller one.
I can think of more very tall actors than smaller ones.
As someone currently 6' tall, I'd be closer to 8' in my current perspective. So that would be less of a change.
However, I already smash my head on a lot of things, so that would be a disincentive unless the world was build for people that tall. But if we're readjusting the world to accomodate my new height, then it could also accommodate 3' tall better. So the hypothetical argument is moot.
My heart would last longer and I'd have a healthier life at 3' tall. But there is a psychology to height, so it could probably be a drawback there unless everyone was 3' tall. And now we're back to the hypothetical rework of the entire world.
I'll take 8 and make millions playing sports. Then use my millions, amputate my legs, and spend the rest of my life in zero gravity space hotels where legs don't matter ;)
Exactly. I'm 6'2, going to 8 feet is less than a 2 foot difference, meanwhile down to 3 feet is 3 feet plus.
For a 5 foot person the answer may be different though
If those are the two options I'd go with the 2.4384 metres.
8 feet I think.
Idk how both effect ones body over the years but 3 feet feels more extreme

I think taller. I like my height, it offsets my weight.
