Developers More Worried Generative AI Will Lower Quality of Games

The people at the top don't care. They only care about a future where there are no employees and the only customers are the same as them. The want the lower and middle classes gone.
The biggest bluff has been around climate change, they've convinced you that they don't believe in it but they do. They have a plan for shrinking the worlds population and AI and robots are part of that plan.
They still want video games and other forms of entertainment but they don't want to worry about all those stinky freeloaders getting paid to do jobs.
- They are, in other words, idiots. They also believe they can live forever (as evidenced by Putin being caught on a hot mic talking about it). They are completely delusional. Their riches will be wiped out by the economic collapse and their AI robots will glitch out and kill them. Even if they survive, do you think someone like Musk will become a warlord in the Wasteland? Please, at most he will be a court jester, but more probably a low quality bloodbag.
Of games?? Buddy, let me tell you about everything else..
If the publisher owns rights to a property (a sports league, character, film franchise or similar) that people will pay to play games about in itself, they’d be leaving money on the table if they invested any more in the games’ quality than to make it passable. As such, we can expect a tier of gaming to be basically AI slop filler with logos attached, developed by skeleton crews of developers in permacrunch, the deadlines giving them just enough time to make something that’s not completely awful. Public expectations will adjust to it, and soon the latest superhero/sports/sci-fi franchise game will be judged on a similar curve to fast food.
