Bike kit transforms a regular ride into front-loading cargo hauler

Looking at other front loaders, the only ones in a similar price bracket are on AliExpress or similar, so while a bit more than I'd expected, I think the larger problem might be that people tend to want electric cargo bikes and this isn't that - unless they already have a hub drive bike.

Regardless, I don't see more than a handful of customers getting these in the timeframe being laid out:

There are still a few design and production hurdles to overcome, but the company anticipates that orders will start to ship to customers in December.

Design and production not being finalized and shipments in a couple months? I wouldn't hold my breath.

That seems insanely expensive for what it is.
