Circus performer plunges to death in front of 80-strong crowd

I remember being a young kid, we went to this local circus and the woman doing that rope act fell from right up near the top of the top and hit with a thud, they dragged her out and the clowns came out and did a really long bit, then the ring master came out saying she was fine, just a little bruised, buuut, where I was sitting I could see a bit of backstage and I saw them wheeling her into an ambulance giving her intense CPR.

Never heard about it so I guess she was all good, that was like 30 odd years ago tho.

They promised an unforgettable show like nothing you've ever seen and, unfortunately, delivered.
