One of my biggest hurdles with drawing is just letting things happen. Trying to avoid getting lost in the details and making every line perfect. In this case I didn't even ask if it made anatomical sense. Just get the idea on paper.

Like how do you put a shirt on over a head that's larger than the torso? How does a cat hold rifle? Is there a rifle type best for cat paws? Cats have perfect dexterity so why would they need kneepads? Do I even know what a military uniform looks like? Forget all those intrusive thoughts. Just get it on paper.
