There's no Lemmy Foundation to petition. You're basically petitioning Nutomic to remove himself.
That said, it's an open source project, if there are enough trans Rust developers out there who want to develop Lemmy without Nutomic they can just fork it. The trend for people who want fedi-reddit minus Nutomic seems to be Piefed though.

Why? Has there been a new development?
His screenshotted post is really old. Every time I've seen him say anything about trans people, he immediately tries to steer the conversation back to software. Literally the next line after the screenshot is that.
The man doesn't care about trans issues and is misinformed by the prevalent right wing misinformation. In my view, nothing in any of his statements have been driven by hate, just ignorance. His ban from blahaj is justifiable due to our strict rules, but nothing beyond that. He said one dumb thing one time. Its weird you keep bringing it up.
If nutomic's involvement in lemmy is such a problem for you, I suggest switching to piefed or something else. Other federated link aggregators are available.

That was 5 months ago. Not exactly new information. We had that conversation shortly after it happened.
He said a dumb thing on a topic he knew very little about. Everything he's said about trans people comes from a place of ignorance, not malice in my view. Regardless the conversation about those comments already happened. Unless he's said something new, there's nothing to discuss here.
I mean even if he wasn't himself transphobic he's a tankie who supports severely anti trans governments like Russia
