Mario Zelaya on Instagram: "BREAKING: According to the whistleblower, who currently works at Canadian tire, in the last month, Canadian Tire has let go nearly 800 people. No mention of this anywhere in the news. To add insult to injury, 362 people will let go via live stream. They were invited to it, and they were then let go. Some of these jobs are allegedly being sent overseas to India as well. That’s why, we also need a 25% tax to all jobs sent overseas by corporations, similar to Donald Trump is proposing with his HIRE Act."
If we are going to protect Canada and keep it's jobs here this is the type of thing we need the government to stop corporations from doing with a tax on outsourced jobs.
I can also verify this happened because my close friend was a part of the downsizing in favour of outsourcing.
