Nobody can prove the winners of the elections, going back decades in the USA , are actually the winners. It is a thing of faith
The alternative was also actively throwing the election and very openly had zero interest in meeting the people's demands. I don't know how anyone was surprised at the result.
One cannot technically throw the election if the counting of the ballots is not understood, and there is already mass cheating.
