Is there anywhere on this planet that violence against women is not institutionalized?
Fuck
Yeah it sucks but it's unfortunately the human condition, it's wrong but you know if the positions were swapped early on that women would do the same things, we as a society need to finally accept that we have the intelligence to move past our natural origins, and throw out the preconceived notions that arose from said origins.

I don't think there are analogues to things like foot binding, female circumcision, etc. that apply to men.
It's super crazy that these forced sterilizations happen, from doctors, to women that are vulnerable in this way. Anywhere. Black mothers have been subjected to this in the US, Inuit and indigenous in Canada and elsewhere. Nobody is giving men involuntary vasectomies, besides patriarchies making slaves into eunuchs. I am interested in learning about the exceptions though.
I'm not saying that thir "human nature" talking point is a strategy by the powerful to justify their position. But it sure helps rationalizing it in that direction.
According to anthropological research. gender discrimiation stems from economical circumstanges.
Also, this seems more like a fucking racist policy, first and foremost, rather than a primarily sexist one.

Doubt. Historically there are many matriarchal societies. https://www.nationalgeographic.com/history/article/angela-saini-patriarchy-matriarchy-gender-equality
