If you think he is selfish now, just wait till you're 2 years into the relationship. Everything will be "mine" and he will control the house.
Can confirm. Have three freeloaders who eat all my food and think they control the TV remote while contributing nothing except a wake of destruction wherever they go.
On a serious note, don't forget your partners in favor of kids (and vice versa)
It's important to pay close attention to both, and have what it takes to spark it with your partners even when you're parenting.
Don't put someone on the first place.
Any family that revolves around the children, will start tearing itself apart. The parental partnership should be the center of it. It provides the strength to teach and guide the kids, while not being led astray.
I'm lucky to have enough energy after doing what I am required to do every day, to acknowledge my spouse and make us some dinner.
Nevermind paying close attention to anything.
Luckily, my SO isn't crazy and understands that we're both busy with work pretty consistently. So there's no real friction here. I know I'm fortunate to be in that situation, and I wouldn't even suggest that's not the case.
This is your best one yet, OP. 😂
At first I was 'damn! What a terrible person!' Then I realize she is referring to their son, and I was 'awwwwww!'
You shouldn't allow anyone to treat you like that. It's abusive. I say dump the son. Dumpsters are great.
Why's the baby throwing their clothes away every few days tho? That's one fast growing baby.
It can be really bad for the first two weeks. Babies can go through many sizes quickly. Plus, some clothes bought before babe is born will just never fit.
I never had to deal with anything baby and I just realize baby clothing is its own problem. I think in the case of my parents, they are gifting the clothes to relatives or neighbors who's having a baby.
Because I've heard a few times over the years when a relative's having a baby, my parent would dug up old clothes bag to find unused baby clothes. I've also overheard other relatives doing the same. Not sure if this is just my family culture, I really never had to talk about baby clothes economy with anyone.
Ya had me going for a min.
I somehow reached the end of this thinking it was a dog she fell in love with, not a human baby.
I prefer this interpretation.
"I think it's a little early to start imposing roles on it, don't you?"
