How Pakistan pulled off one of the fastest solar revolutions in the world

In the meantime the West is trying to ban all sorts of EV imports from China, because they 1) laughed at the green energy boom for decades, 2) are flooded with lobbying money from fossil fuels industries.

Key reason is governement didn't stop Chinese imports or people hooking up to the grid with their home solar. Most places in the world, the utility monopolies get to control regulations against such permissiveness.
