The thing is that in the U.S. these laws are getting overturned all the time and then a new one pops up. A lot of these laws are getting challenged and we've got to decide whether or not to pass more of these laws. We really need to get to the bottom of this in order to make sure our people are protected and that this is the right path. I don't think that these bills would be the end of the world but I don't think it's worth it. We'd be worse off if the new bill wasn't being pushed through. But the thing is that I'm not sure that we can ever pass them into law and it's the best we can do right now because we don't have a lot of support.

It depends on where you live. In most states the people that would be affected by this are the ones that are paying the bill, if the bill is $5 million you might not even get it.

- Well, not just states. Some states are really just flat out banning bills that would otherwise be passed through a state government. The bill that passed through the state government was basically passed by the state government so it isn't really like we could've been affected by it in the state, because they probably didn't have a state government at all, it's just an idea for how the bill would be passed and then there's really no guarantee that the state would actually get anything.

The states also have the constitutional power to tax without regard to the individual, so if the tax burden is high enough the government can't simply do it all via taxation without representation.
