Found this on tumblr, any thoughts?

Yet another "what makes a game cozy?" post. Cropped out a more inflammatory bit from the image because I want to spark discussion, not start a fight, but you can view the whole thread including the bit I cropped out here.

@Elevator7009 I only see people using cozy to mean games with pastoral settings and/or cute aesthetics, nothing to do with difficulty
- I don't think I have ever seen a pastoral aesthetics game with high difficulty actually 🤔 at least not in a way that it doesn't lose the cozy feeling to me
  
  @NightFantom maybe not difficult in the traditional sense, but some can be very tedious. I remember people making spreadsheets for Harvest Moon games!
I don't personally think I've ever described a game as cozy. Based on that nightmare of a debate, I think it sounds like cozy is extremely subjective and is not a good descriptor to use in public discussion. It means something vastly different for everyone. That's just the take if an unbiased person that's played a lot of games and doesn't really know what cozy is supposed to mean in terms of games.
- I'd say Animal Crossing is a cozy game, and Tiny Glade too. They seem lik epretty chill games as long as you're not too high strung and trying to win in a game without a win condition.
- The term cozy seems to used quite a lot in certain contexts (sites, blogs, discussions, steam).
  Although I will admit it's let's of genre than a combination of general gameplay style and aesthetics that's crosses genres.
