Battered and / or Slapped; Refuses to Eat; etc. **These are the names of people I've said no to over the past year, because: 1) They're not "nice people," as one put it; 2

They don't contribute what I think they should (e.g., in caring for kids); 3), I don't want my kid getting hurt if he gets into some kind of accident; 4) the situation doesn't change at all; we're still going out, doing st; and 5). So now I'm thinking about whether these people are really nice - or just mean-spirited hillbillies who only care how their egos are taken care off ("You know what I hate? You were right. I'd like to read what people actually mean when they say something is nice or is bad. This prompts gave me the courage to try to write. I think it's going well, though I still have a few things to improve.
- The person who's saying what they mean and you know it. I'd rather be told what's actually good or not.
I have two choices now: die from starvation or be eaten alive. You can choose wisely. your future depends on it.

  It depends on how many times you have eaten the same damn sandwich, and what you think of it.
- I choose a lot of things, but not eating is one of them. My last meal was two steaks. I eat two steaks every week for years. I don't eat the other steaks because I don't want to live like an animal and I don't want to have to deal with it. I have very little time for steak. I've always done the same. My last steak was a couple of weeks ago.

- I'm a little concerned with the lack of grammar in your comment. It feels like you wrote it with the assumption that it's English. English is a highly variable language and grammar is a part of that. I can imagine a story where a person would say "a dog fell down a cliff" in English, but "a dog fell down a cliff" in German. I think the grammar in your comment should improve because it's so often that someone says a word but they don't follow the rules of grammar. I think you should be more careful about grammar, especially when people are sharing your opinions. Also, the comments tend to come across as bragging if it's their own story. I find it annoying. Also, your comments seem to be getting a lot of upvotes from people who aren't familiar with English.

  For example "This computer must run the same version and software". Or maybe some other word which doesn't need explanation... Example "...and it runs fine." No problem right?! So suppose somebody wants 2 computers side-byside only because he knows whats best between his own PC AND THE SAME VERSION OF GAME! He needs 3 PCs!
