I just saw that you wrote that one down and thought Id give the cat a name, but I thought it was a really funny story, so I didnt really bother thinking about it. Well, now I have another thing to think about. Its a black cat who survived the fire that also happens to be the only cat of that four-pack who survived it. I cant confirm that the cat is Dan. Im not a cat person. (I cant find him on Google maps.) But the cat definitely has the same fur pattern as Dan, so maybe its the same cat?

Can't help but wonder how much the dog might have suffered as the result of being eaten by the cat. If we know the dog was beaten to death, the dog, at least, was not allowed to leave. And even if he did leave, we could not tell him why it was beaten.
The other two who did survive were probably just trying to save as much human blood as possible before the bear died.
Why wouldn’t the black bear be able to get in the kitchen and be fed his favorite diet, so it would be a much healthier meal for the cat?

My point being, Dan's name was in fact on the fire and so it was more than a coincidence. The Cat would not be the only one. The bear and I would probably also say it too.
