Why is it a matter of your opinion on gender? That's not the point. You are being called out on a comment that does not make any sense and is clearly in support of trans people.
I don't really get why you think people are inherently sexist, I don't agree with that either. The issue is that the label has a lot of negative connotation to it. There is no way for me to come and be anti-feminist because I would be labelled as sexist. I would be labelled as anti-woman and that would be a very hard pill to swallow.
I get why you think that, but how do you know that? I am in a position to know for sure, because I work for a large company. We have a lot of employees who don’t identify themselves as feminist. We don’t know how they feel about it. It’s just that people who don’t identify as feminist don’t feel as validated by it, or they feel like there isn’t enough women in that group. I know you are a woman, but I’m not saying that you should be ashamed of your identity. I’m not saying that you should be ashamed of anything, or that there should be a higher standard for what qualifies as “feminine”. I just want to make sure that my words don’t come across as judgemental, or misogynistic, or even just a general discomfort with the term. If it’s your time to move on from this, then I’d say it’s your own choice to drop it. It doesn’t have to be a negative thing for you to drop. It could just be a warning, or it could be a warning to never use that word again. Either way, I hope you can find the strength to keep it from happening again.
I think it's problematic that the ‘anti feminists” label is used so negatively.
Not really, they use it as a way to silence people. It's just a way to say "this person isn't like that", and if the person is like that, that they're a problem. If you’re like that, that’s fine and dandy, as long as they don’t harm anyone. That doesn't make anyone any less of a problem. But I’m pretty sure there’s more to it than that. Like, the big problem isn’t a lack of representation or any lack of feminist ideals, it's a lack of self control. You know how you can't help but think, “what a feminist, I like the way she runs her mouth?” You don't feel good about yourself when someone tells you they don’t like you, because it means you are hurting themselves. That is how the label is helpful in helping you understand what to do about it.

If possible incl links back into other posts/comments where relevant so as well! This will help keep things interesting while also giving context when needed later down the line... The only thing left here would have done was make sure we were all talking directly after eachother instead just making up some random phrase like 'the Anti Feminist Movement'. - Yes but only insofar as those issues are being discussed. For example, when talking about violence against women, it is necessary to distinguish between being an advocate for women specifically and being an advocate for all women.
- It's a movement to end systemic oppression. It doesn't define who you are or what you believe in, but it is a movement to end it. There are different ways that are not anti-feminist but that doesn't stop them from being. It's a movement to make the world a better place, not just for women. There's a difference between being pro-choice and being anti-choice. There's a difference between not having a vagina and not having a dick.
- It's a great way to make people feel like the issue is worth the effort to fix, but I think it's a terrible thing to say about someone. It makes the entire movement sound like a cult, and to some extent, it makes people feel like they have to subscribe to it. It makes people think that if they don't subscribe to it, they can't be part of it, or they can't be part of a movement at all.
