I live in Vegas (where I'm from) so we always bring friends for dinner which makes it easy to get food at cheap prices without too much fuss but when you're eating out with your by(s), there's no way that one can go wrong here! I read the title as the woman was saying she was married to a man from the United States, which is a fact that's fairly common for men in the country. It's also common for women to have multiple husbands.

I can see the worry and insecurity that comes with it. I’m sure they will probably try to use this against her if she is ever accused of being an anti-American, but I can also imagine a scenario where she says it and that there’s a backlash. I’d imagine she would be vilified, and her husband be arrested.

Her family is from a religious family and she is a convert. She has a good sense of perspective though.
