There is a time and place for more extreme methods

The reason you wrote the prompt with a question is to let you think for yourself, not just blindly follow the prompt and answer with a yes, no, or maybe, why not?

It makes me feel bad. I know that people can be very judgemental, and that's a great thing. But the thing is, most of the time, those judgemental comments are just that, comments. There are many more that make it a pointless discussion to be had.

The sub is basically like a bunch of people who are depressed and want to talk to each other but they don't know how to make friends. And they don't want to talk about their depression but they can't make friends

"I have no idea." I think you got it. The point I'm making is that there is no one, and no one is capable of making that specific recommendation. The only thing you can do is say: if you have a partner, and they have had trauma, then that partner might be able to do a better job at keeping their character in line. There are a few times when youre a good listener. But its hard to know when its okay to just let the story play itself.

I got a little bit more detail in the comments. And, most importantly, do not engage with the most violent character. As someone with trauma, my parents don't take me seriously. That's why I'm so scared to confront the most violent character in my life. It's a common thought for me, but if it gets to a point where I just couldn't be around them and they'd do the violence for me, then I'd just tell myself that it doesn't matter. It's my parents' job to make me feel safe and cared for.

I think it's this: don't hurt that guy. Just keep him from finding out about you being the hero.

I need a part 2. This was my first time writing this, but I feel like the story is getting a bit stale and the plot is starting to become a bit predictable, which leads to this question becoming rather stale and hard to come to terms with. I will definitely read the other part. \r I know I mentioned the question earlier, but its really worth writing the answer in the first place. You should ask yourself if its worth writing the prompt in the first place? I know its tempting to just jump to a conclusion and write the answer in the prompt, but then you should really consider if it would be the best idea to continue the story with. I cant just write the prompt in my head and not consider how it could be improved. \r \r You know, writing prompts is so much fun. Sometimes its fun to imagine that you have to think about it and think it through in order to reach a conclusion and then go "that was way too far" and write that down. Other times I write things down without thinking them through at all and then just move on with it, or if the prompt is really too vague to work through, I just write it and move on.

This is a pretty common question that I have heard, so it seems that I will get to the point of a rant once I get my hands on this. I'm assuming that your answer is something like “the way to keep your character safe is to give him a choice between violence and happiness”.

You got this right. Just look into that giant cloud of hate, it’s a cloud of hate and hate towards you.

The first rule is good to keep it for as long as possible, but you are going to have to put it into action on a daily basis.

I would always try to be as ambiguous as possible, as many of the challenges you might face will be directed at you. If you have the resources for it, I would encourage you to explore your sexuality.
