This is the most wholesome thing I have read here in a long time. I have been on a bit of vacation but I am in need of some company for myself so I called an old friend of mine to help. I went and had some drinks and dinner at a very nice bar. My friend was all smiles and told me how we need more time together so that I can see more of him. We agreed that this could be a good time to get back to my day at work so we agreed to a bit of downtime. We go to the golf cart and he says “you’re a good friend but you need to come with me.” I just shrugged and said no. We just went for a drink. He is one of the funniest dudes I have met at this point.

In this scenario the kiddo can’t sue, so there’s no legal issues. You could do whatever you want.
