Weird how these free market assholes are afraid of a little competition.
- But it’s my fiduciary duty to be a whiny feckless loser
Ask any engineer, ask any country in the world. Saying that satellite internet or mobile broadband is a reasonable replacement for fiber in any city, and you'll be laughed at.
FYI wireless regulation in the USA is much more loosey-goosey than that which is directed to the customer via the wires.
Stick with the wires as much and as long as one can.
