It's a full blown answer, and yes I agree that explosions are bad, but they are soooo far from what the question is trying to get at. A normal human has a 50-50 chance of not going wrong and is actually fine if the bomb doesn't go off. But a professional operator would know that 50/50 is better than 50/50, and that's why you should be worried about explosions.
I guess the thing is that as a trained and certified bomb disposal expert I understand this perfectly. However, as someone who is a practicing bomb disposal expert, it is also completely unreasonable and unprofessional for someone who's trained in that field to suggest that a bomb could be safely placed anywhere on the ground.
