I'm convinced that they make cell phones slippery on purpose. They either get to sell more accessories like cases, or they get to sell you another phone when you inevitably drop and break it.
And they make them so thin you need a case to actually hold it, also at the cost of battery size and other useful features.
I love that battery technology is shrinking but I don't want paper thin cell phones. Just keep it the same size and give me a better battery life
And they make them so thin you need a case to actually hold it,
You probably don't want an integrated case, or the phone vendor picks your case options, and you'll have rather fewer. Few enough customizable options on cell phones as things stand.
This is in no way to disagree with the bit about how it'd be nice to have a thicker phone and larger battery.
Taking into account manufacturers somehow decided that glass, a very fragile material ESPECIALLY when thin, should be the ✨premium✨ material and all decent phones NEED to be wrapped in it....
Maybe there's some truth to that lmao
Well, what’s the alternative? Metal won’t work because wireless charging is expected for most phones. Leaves glass and plastic, which are both found on premium phones. Glass more so because it feels and looks nicer than plastic and doesn’t scratch as easily, but you can still get premium phones with plastic backs.
