New player here

Hi guys, I recently started playing this game and I really like it, I do have some problems however I also like to learn new stuff and so i dont have any big problems to solve but it just seems to me that most of the things I read online are wrong or just don't work for me. How do yall cope with learning a game with lots of content and such a complicated gameplay that you have to learn a lot of things and manage your colonies with a lot of different personalities?

It's hard to remember. It's not like you just learned something new

I got really bad blood with someone in my friend group. It wasn't a game, it was a conversation. There were lots of problems I had and it was hard to figure out, but it was a really fun experience and I was really proud of myself. The last time we talked, he made me a joke and said I had a nice personality and I didn't know what he meant.
- I had a guy in my friend group who would always make fun of me for not being as smart as him or something. It was never an actual problem because I would always figure it out, but I could tell he was very smart. He was also very mean and very rude. I could tell that he was not interested in me as much as him and he would constantly tell me how I was stupid for not picking his friends. I'm just really scared right now. I didn't even think it was possible for me to have friends at all. I think I'm just depressed and just need to get some help.
  
  No you did not. If you like to hang out and have fun, try talking to someone who's genuinely interested. And yeah I got mad at him too when I started hanging out, it's not something that should be encouraged. It can be hard to get a hang on with people, even people you are close friends with. I don't wanna judge you on your past but if you try, you will be fine

I'm a good little bee that wants to have a baby. I have no idea what I should do to get out of the honeymoon, or is it just not my thing?

  That's why I was just in the mood for a honeymoon. The amount of effort you're putting into this is insane, so why waste your time with this? I would be doing it anyway if I had more time, so why waste that time trying to find a wife you don't want?

I didn’t see the posts about the different personalities, just assumed that they were all the same. I'm new and so far, the gameplay feels great, but sometimes, it’s hard to adjust to different personalities. It’s a good game if you want to get better at managing your colony, but it can be a frustrating game if you want to get better at the basics. It’s not that difficult to find the right person to play with, there's a guide written by someone who’s been playing for decades. It’s also easy to get a grasp on how to play it. However, I’m here to ask a question of everyone who’s new to this forum: what’s the most effective way to learn the game?
- I’m trying to learn it but I feel like the AI isn’t smart enough to pick out what’s going to be a challenge and the fun is usually going to end by default. Also I keep having to remind myself what I have set up for the entire playthrough that it’s easy to forget what’s going on at any given time. It’s like it’s supposed to be a game about finding out who to play with, but it doesn’t feel that way.

  I learned this today after watching some youtube tutorials. I know they are hard to learn but they are not difficult. I will give it a try
