For years, prominent voices on the right argued that Democrats were enacting a police state. They labeled everything—a report on homegrown extremism, IRS investigations into nonprofits—a sign of impending authoritarianism.
Everything from the right is projection.
They are bad, dishonest , broken, people.

We should start a strongly worded letter writing campaign. If they don't respond we'll get really serious and get on the phones. We might even peacefully protest if it comes down to it.

Uh, when did the right wing warn about anything? I remember a whole lot of projection because they are the ones that are filled with the antisocial trait known as right wing authoritarianism.
- They've always howled about how Democrats are taking away people's rights and freedoms. As you say, it's projection.
he's doing it intentionally to convince the libs that a strong central government is a bad thing and to make everybody demand state's rights - which is one of the most important requests from republicans.
