Seems like Apple is very much setting themselves up to compete against MS, Sony, and Nintendo for couch gaming.
I hope there’s some kind of desktop mode when plugged into a monitor. All I ever wanted from a smartphone when it first became a thing was to be able to go into the office. Plug your phone in to do general tasks
- My Samsung tabled does that. Same with their phones, it's called Dex.
  
  You can even use the phone as a trackpad.
  
  Pretty neat feature, I agree.
  
  Now that I say I always wanted to have this feature I wonder if I’d realistically use it.
  
  Is Dex useful? Have you used it in any regular or useful way?
So wait, does it have a displayport?

Because I saw news saying that some models would have USB-C 2.0, only USB-C 3.2(? FastDelivery) supports monitors. So unless it has a second port there's no way this is true.
- The non-pro models only have USB 2.0
  
  Then there's no way the non-pro models can use monitors, let alone 4k HDR. Pretty sure even if you power the monitor separately it just doesn't transfer the data fast enough.
  
  I spent months trying to use a portable monitor with a USB-C 2.0 port until I found out there's different versions and only 1 actually works for it.
That's actually impressive wish my Pixel had dp alt
- Pixel 8 series will apparently support dp alt mode after all these years. Thanks Google for the bare minimum again.
