I think it's a great idea to start with the assumption that men are not the primary actors in all of these things. The way we think about relationships is based on how men treat us, and the way they t

uck their feet, which is why I think it makes sense for women/girls to try different things with their partners. I don't think that's a bad thing, and I do think it gives women more agency in how they want to be treated by men than men themselves can give them (and vice versa). But I think that men should start treating each other differently. As someone who played as a man in the Sims 3 dating pool, I’m glad they stopped. Men can’t be expected to behave like this.
And a lot of the time it doesn't work like that!
They should not have to treat other men in any way, just to help those women who need help. That's how men make their decisions. - I have been the victim of many misogynistic attitudes toward men in my life, but this one time I even had a thought that women shouldn't be the primary victims.
- Yeah man, that's definitely something we need to address with a society-wide effort to increase the male/female ratio in a country where the gender ratio is even better than it is here.

- Yeah I was thinking about that. And if thats how you view things, that makes sense. But if its the way men treat us, we should be looking for something else. Because its not like Im saying that they are bad people, they arent mean or anything. Its just... They should be looking for something else.
  
  (I did this.) In case anyone is curious, my mother has been diagnosed as having depression since she turned 16 years old. She had an extremely difficult childhood because of her father's alcoholism which caused him to have very severe mental illnesses including schizophrenia. His behavior made me realize he wasn't normal at all - but his family would never admit any issues until after their daughter went through puberty so no one could tell them what happened when/if there were problems later. He also abused drugs throughout high school due mainly out of guilt over being caught by police dealing meth while under 18. Eventually stopped drinking entirely around age 20
